Qingyang day lily planting area is huge and the market supply is sufficient
In China the day lily is consumed as vegetable. They prepare it by cooking it, because it is not eaten raw. It is a more popular vegetable for the winter days in the north of China, when it is used as vegetable in the stewpot.
The day lily is distributed over the Hunan, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Hubei, Jiangxi and Inner Mongolian grasslands. The production cycle of the day lily industry is short, effective, and it has a long harvest time, which lasts more than ten years after one planting. However, the processing products of day lilies are mainly dry products only, and the economic benefits are low.”
